Best Time To Visit In Spiti Valley

Spiti valley is the most famous destination in Himachal Pradesh. It is also called a cold desert mountain valley. It is situated in the North - Eastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The name Spiti means The Middle Land i.e. The land between Tibet and India. The Spiti valley is separated from Lahaul valley by the high Kunzum pass at 15.059feet.

HOW TO REACH SPITI VALLEY :

Lahaul and Spiti are separated from Kullu by the Rohtang pass and Kunzum pass and it lies on the manali - Leh highway

BY FLIGHT -

There is no direct flight connectivity to Spiti valley. The nearest airport is in Bhuntar, near Kullu, 245km away from the same.

BY ROAD

From Manali to Kaza, There are regular buses from July to October. From Shimla via Kinnaur, There are regular buses from May to October.

BY RAIL

Kalka and Chandigarh are the closest broad gauge train stations for Spiti. Shimla and Joginder Nagar are the nearest train stations.
